Pet Peeves: People who are louder than they need to be. Incorrect grammar/spelling. People who "lol" themselves while chatting.

I like girls of different types, but mostly I seem to lean more towards dorky, geeky, and/or "girly" girls. When I say girly, I mean the kind that can act silly, don't hide their cute emotions and actions, and that can be random at times. I like a girl that can talk or at least warm up to a long conversation. Nothing is worse than awkward silence. like girls that are kind, at least semi-sweet, and HONEST. She definitely has to know and understand the word "monogamy". She couldn't be too stand-offish, because I like to be cuddly and affectionate when the time is right. I just moved back to Georgia, from Arizona. And it's great to be back. I was a general manager for Applebee's until recently when I decided I needed a change and was lucky enough(considering the economy as it is today) to get a job offer from Cracker Barrel. I'm not a general manager as of yet since I just started with them, but that's ok with me because I make just about the same with less responsibility. I was with Applebee's for 10 years before leaving them. And for an update I really hated Cracker Barrel so I just started with Red Lobster.

I really don't like trying to describe myself, but I will do my best. I am really funny and intelligent, and I really need someone who can laugh with me at the humor in everyday life and appreciate the subtle things I point out. Intelligent conversation keeps me going, even if it's just me explaining something to you, as long as you can keep up. If you ask me how something works, be prepared for a very thorough answer. I am a very committed person, and very selfless when it comes to dating. I'm honest (sometimes a little too much), fairly outgoing, and fun to be around. While I am a geek, I also do a lot of stuff outdoors when I have the time. I ride 4-wheelers on weekends while I'm at school. During the summers I do tons of activities.I play soccer, both indoor and outdoor.
I've been skiing (snow and water), kayaking, camping, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and loads of other things. I have at one point or another played baseball, tennis and volleyball, and I took Tae Kwon Do for something like 7 years.

Me I can be as sweet as candy, or as mean as a rabbid pit-bull on a playground. I'm southern raised which means I know how to show respect, and treat a lady. This does not mean I'm a redneck, or that just because I talk slow that I am slow.lol.. (it's called a southern draw for a reason.) I'm an outgoing, big hearted person that enjoys all types of things, and that is open to new ones. I'm driven in my goals, and if I see something I want I will damn sure make it a point to get it. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family. Always smiling and laughing. I guess i'm a big kid inside, because i would much rather watch cartoons than anything else on tv. I always try to find something good about any situation, and or person. I am a very confident person but not**** in any way. I have had many different types of jobs ranging from a bartender to a sushi chef to milking cows. I am a jack of all trades so to say. i'm lindsay. i like going to school, i want to be nurse, i like to watch the show intervention even though it makes me sad, i love to read when it's raining, i am passionate about art and art history, animals, gay rights, and a few others. my palms sweat a lot for no reason, my tongue is super duper long, i wear blue, green and brown a lot. correct grammar turns me on, i love to make people laugh, i like my smile, i only sing to people who don't want to hear me sing, mushy romantic gestures make me itchy (not really, but i'm far too cynical for mushy gestures), i was voted 'wittiest' of my senior class, and that was neat. if i were to classify myself as a type of nerd, i would fall under the category of the "harry potter/lord of the rings" nerd. i have the best friends a girl could ever ask for, family is really important to me, i worry to much, i typically take on a motherly-type of role when someone i love is sick or possibly just way too drunk. i have liberal political views, people tell me their secrets a lot, and i think that's because i give off an air of acceptance and open-mindedness, which i like. my second toe is longer than my big toe, i am the youngest of three siblings, but i am no where near the spoiled baby of the family, which i am thankful for. i consider myself to be very independent, probably to a fault- it takes a lot for me to rely on someone completely. southern accents sort of turn me off, which is unfortunate because i live in the south! but they're definitely not a deal-breaker. i am a freak about teeth, and they're usually the first thing i notice about a person. i have a nose piercing and sometimes contemplate getting more piercings, but i doubt i will. i am always laughing or singing or acting goofy, and i am more than likely doing this because i'm bored. :)

My favorite thing in the world to do is laugh. It's real, and beautiful to be with people that make you laugh so hard you think you're going to die.

I enjoy doing interesting things. Any activity where I learn about another culture, cultivate a new skill, or am exposed to a new idea is always a good thing. I love learning a little bit about anything I haven't seen before. Much past the basics, though, my interest might die off.

I thoroughly enjoy travel. I've paid prolonged visits to Colorado and Alaska, and made a point of doing things while I was in those places. If money were not an obstacle, I'd go around the world.

Family is very important to me: until I went off to college, I could probably count the number of times on one hand that I had missed Sunday lunch at my grandmother's house. I also have a very close circle of friends who always seem willing to listen to me when I need it and who know that I'd give a kidney for them if necessary. Seriously.

I consider myself a deist, though calling me an agnostic would not be too inaccurate. I believe in a creative force, but what that force is, I can't speculate. My assumption is that were humans to live long enough, we could probably figure out this whole "God" thing and explain it with laws of physics, but realistically, we'll probably die off long before we have any definitive proof either way. Besides, understanding the laws of science behind everyday phenomena (such as life itself) doesn't take away from their magnificence. Can't we all just agree on saying "there's something going on here that we just don't understand yet" and leave it at that? Why do so many people insist on making such a big deal out of this?

An essay about myself, I'll keep it brief and to the point. I have no regrets, everything happens for a reason. I am an undergrad and am serving in the military doing my small part. I plan on making it a career. Understand, however, that although I am in the military, I do not adhere to the Utopian mythology that everything we do is just and shouldn't be questioned. I am a realist, which leaves me with an open-mind and in turn humbles me. I don't get wrapped around the axle easily. I am open to all views/opinions and maintain a sense of cultural relativism, just because something is different doesn't mean it is bad/wrong. I adapt well, making meeting new people natural and not a forced affair. I am goal-driven and know where I want to go, but I don't let my ambitions keep me from living in the here and now, blocking out the spice of life: spontaneity . Hi! I'm a Senior here at Georgia Southern. It's my fifth year, but only because I've enjoyed college a little too much. :) I'm graduating with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development. I'd like to get my master's in school psychology, because I love working with children, and I think it's absolutely important to do something you love. You can't be happy otherwise :) I like going out on the weekends and having a good time with my friends, but I also enjoy staying in and watching movies with a bottle of wine and someone I care about. I love to cook, and even considered going to culinary school. I also have an artistic side and like dabbling in painting and ceramics. The usual, these type of "tell me about yourself" boxes are difficult. I find it's best to find out about someone through just talking to them. But let's see what I can do. I really like intelligence, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to keep my attention, but it'd be great if we can talk about some things without the "huh" factor. I tend to be a little shy when it comes to meeting new people, in a new setting I'm often quiet and just observe people around me to get an idea of how they react. I usually do much better in smaller groups, talking to a few people at once. I don't like to be the star of the show around a lot of people, but in my core group of friends I tend to take charge and be the one people look to to make decisions. I'm a 20 year old guy from Statesboro. I've been told that I'm strange, level-headed, smart, unpredictable, intense, geeky, "metal", and so on haha... I tend to fall all over the spectrum, I guess. I'm not so great at "describing myself", so I'll just say that if you want to get to know me, your best bet is to just talk xD.

Also... I'm a pretty dedicated student. I mean... I kinda have to be, I'm an engineering major! But I like to attempt to get out and do whatever when I can. Weekends are always reserved for sleeping, jammin with the band, or whatever my friends invite me to do. Homework waits until Sunday night heh...

I am working very hard right now to get into medical school. I shadow, volunteer, take classes, work part time, and teach piano lessons at the local recreation department. I've always thought that these sites could be extremely efficient ways to meet compatible partners. The problem is that there seems to be a sort of stigma associated with online dating sites. This is a shame because these sites provide a great way to achieve preliminary elimination of people with whom you KNOW you would not be compatible. For example, just by me saying that I strongly believe in evolution; that humans descended from a species of monkey (and actually much more simplistic organisms than monkeys), I may eliminate a substantial number of members. In conventional dating this may not come up until the second, third, fourth, etc. date. See, highly efficient. Even though I am not "religious", I consider myself very spiritual. I believe that there are forces and balances in the world we humans do not understand; a sort of Karma. These forces, which I call "God", work in mysterious ways. I believe that staying well hydrated is of utmost importance for human health. I'm willing to bet that many daily ailments can be partially attributed to lack of sufficient water intake. I think that honesty and respect are the two most important qualities in a relationship. You have to trust one another and you have to respect the other person even if you disagree. As long as these two areas are solid, then compromise should come relatively easy, or at least inevitably. But once you get me out of my shell, I'm always down for having a good time. I really hate to argue because I think it doesn't get anyone anywhere, just pointless rambling. I'm pretty non-confrontational and it just bugs me when people when people have flaring tempers about the dumbest things. I'm a pretty big adrenaline-junkie. While that may not be driving cars crazily down the interstate, I love to do things most people would never consider doing. I've always wanted to go sky-diving and when I turn 21, thats the one thing that I plan on doing. I love to just take long drives, it calms me down when things aren't going as planned or im just having a bad day. Thats me in a nutshell I guess.

I love people and love talking on the phone. I am very entergetic and love life. I am always busy and try to keep myself going sometimes I may need a little pep me up from friends saying that I can do it but I am a very determined person and I know anything I set my mind to I can do.

I'm a pretty laid back guy. I collect vinyl records and enjoy writing. As a writer, I am fascinated by people's stories. I love meeting new people and hearing about their past experiences and plans for their future. I do a lot of day dreaming, which is one of the main reasons I'm a writer. Whenever I'm bored, I look around the internet for new music. I can never have enough new music. I watch a lot of The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. I sometimes feel as though I have two different personalities, the crazy, hyper gamer who yells at the tv screen while threatening to set it on fire; the lazy but happy crazy version of myself, then there is the hard worker who doesn't talk much and keeps to herself, silently thinking.
I can be found in the back of my classes, listening to my ipod while air guitaring (I suck at the real guitar, wish I could learn more!) or pretending to be playing the drums. I love music (and musicians. Mwuaha)

I enjoy simple things, like sleeping, cuddling and just watching tv, but if arsed, I can be quite hyper and joyful. I often jump the gun because I'm afraid of being left behind (and usually trip trying to catch up. I'm clumsy :3). I tried to generally enjoy life to its fullest. I want to participate in an active social life and be around my friends, even though that doesn't happen quite often due to working and being in school.. I'm quite independent. I get irritated easily but appear calm and happy on the outside. I'm proud. I can either talk ALOT or hardly. It depends on the person. I become bored easily, but i'm entertained easily. I can be very possessive and rather jealous when it comes to my loved ones. Im perfectly happy to spend the whole day curled up with a good book, and thus, I can be mislabeled as being lazy. I rely on my gut reactions and intuitions before turning to others for suggestions. I'm a hard worker. I'm always the helper at work and rush to get a task done. Oddly enough, i'm also the muscles? Even though I have normal sized arms, I'm strong. I can lift my mother who is near 200lbs! :D (So don't pick on me just cause I look cute. >:o) Oh, and i'm a wittle OCD. Things can NOT be out of order or else it will drive me insane and I won't shut up about it. I often rant about things I dislike, like idiots and drugs. Smoke tends to drive me crazy. My father was a smoker and I have enough coughing problems from his smoke. So kindly don't smoke around me cause it also makes me itchy? I'm not overly religions and quite open minded. I'm sarcastic sometimes, so don't take it to heart. I'm a Geek/Nerd. I play the flute and attempt to play the violin. I love video games! I will beat you. Name the game, time and date and I'll be there. Currently I'm pwning at Left 4 Dead 2. I love nothing more than kicking some zombie ass with a katana. I've had more guy friends (who were perverts) than chick friends so don't be surprised if I bust out with a "That's what she said!" And if you see me giggling in the background, my brain is in the gutter so just ignore me.

I'm going to give you a lot of sh*t too, and you better be able to give it right back. You need to know what you want and want it right now, without apologizing for it. You don't
have to be a model for us to go out, but if you are a model, be prepared to show me that
all of you are not as crazy and emotional as what Iâ??ve had to put up with in the past. If
you think you are up to the challenge, and I think you have what it takes to spend time
with me, we might just work out.
